Net revenue / media spend
1.8×€9,000 in net revenue from €5,000 in media spend. Is that enough evidence to increase the budget?

Check what the ratio leaves out
| Input | Value |
|---|---|
| Net revenue after refunds | €9,000 |
| Variable costs | €4,500 |
| Media spend | €5,000 |
| Acquisition overhead | €1,000 |
| Platform conversions | 100 |
| Unique first-time buyers | 80 |
Reveal the result after these costs
€9,000 − €4,500 − €5,000 − €1,000 = −€1,500
The cohort does not cover all stated acquisition costs. This is a contribution calculation, not net corporate profit. Platform CPA is €50; media CAC is €62.50 because 100 conversions and 80 buyers are different denominators.
Choose one investigation
Before scaling, reconcile refunds and variable-cost definitions, then compare campaign cohorts at the same maturity. Record the source, owner and what would change the decision.
This aggregate result does not justify pausing every campaign. Repeat revenue, incremental impact and the cost of the next customer remain unknown.
